Tan Jun Kit
Jun Kit graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the University of Reading, United Kingdom in 2013.
He was called to the Bar of England and Wales as a barrister of Inner Temple in
2015 and subsequently admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court
of Malaya in 2016. He commenced his legal career with a reputable law firm in
Malaysia prior to establishing Justin & Tan Partnership.
Jun Kit’s area of practice ranges from mergers and acquisitions, private equity
and venture capital investments, equity capital market transactions to banking and finance.
In the area of equity capital market transactions, Jun Kit has assisted companies with initial public offering on the ACE Market of Bursa Securities as well as fund
raising exercises such as placements.
He has experience in public mergers and acquisitions such as take-over
transactions of public companies listed on Bursa Securities, and in private
mergers and acquisitions such as private equity and venture capital funds on
their investments.
His banking and finance experience includes assisting financial institutions and
corporations with project financing and mergers and acquisitions financing.
